With a sponsorship you can influence the future of many children, and you can do something really effective in the fight against suffering and poverty. You can contribute to their growing up healthily and decently.

Terre des hommes has no individual child sponsorship because:

... we do not want to create a relationship of de-         pendency between a child and a sponsor;
... no child should be favored above others;
... our solidarity sponsorships need lower admini-       strative costs;
... ZEWO (Swiss Foundation for Fundraising Orga-     nizations) advises against individual child spon-     sorship.

You can sign up for the following sponsorships:

• Solidarity Sponsorship: You support child relief in general. Your contribution will be   used where it is most urgently needed;
• Program Sponsorship: commitment to a specific program theme;
• Country Sponsorship: Support for children in a particular country.
