20th November 2009 was the 20th anniversary of the Convention of Child Rights - Terre des hommes went into action!
A warm thank-you to everyone who took part!

On November 20th, International Day of Child Rights, in over 100 locations in Switzerland more than 3,500 children and youths went onto the streets, shining shoes, auctioning magazines, etc., so making passers-by aware of the situation of street children all over the world.

The takings of all the groups will go in their entirety to our projects children in street situations in Afghanistan, in Bangladesh, in Brazil, in Burundi, Mozambique and in Vietnam.
We thank all the participants for their wonderful commitment.
