Since 2008 Terre des hommes (Tdh) carries out in Nicaragua childhood protection projects in the fields of restorative justice and prevention of urban violence among young people. In the first three years of intervention, some 6000 minors in conflict with the law and 19,000 children and adolescents have benefited from the intervention of Tdh.
